U.2 NVMe Mobile Rack

Unestech's latest product for NVMe U.2/U.3 SSD Mobile Rack, brings the next level of high speed storage. ST2528U4 is a Metal Removable 2 Bay U.2 / U.3 NVMe PCIe Mobile Rack Enclosure, supporting up to 64Gbps data transfer speeds through 2x SlimSAS（SFF-8654 4i）connection. This drive mobile rack fits an external 3.5” drive bay (floppy bay) space.

Removable Drive Tray Design

U.2 NVMe SSDs are typically designed to be installed internally,With the ST2528U4 the U.2 drives are brought to the frontal 3.5” drive bay space where they can be easily accessed.

This enclosure is equipped with removable drive trays that make drive installation and removal quick and simple. And each removable drive tray can support U.2 SSDs from 5mm to 9.5mm in height.

PCIe 4.0 Performance

The mobile rack equipped with SlimSAS 4i (SFF-8654) connector, each drive in the enclosure can achieve transfer speeds of up to 64Gb/s, twice as fast as PCIe 3.0 and ten times faster than SATA standards, which unleash the full potential of NVMe SSDs.

The robust metal housing is engineered to endure extreme environmental conditions while providing superior heat dissipation for U.2 NVMe SSDs. In addition, the ventilation holes place on top and bottom of the device and keeps a low drive temperature.

To enhance physical security, the key-lock mechanism provides reliable protection against unauthorized access and ensures drive security in demanding operational environments.

The enclosure LED status indicator on the drive tray provides real-time visual confirmation of both power status and operational activity.
