High Capacity

To maximize storage density and compatibility, the Unestech ST9318 supports up to 8 x 5-7mm 2.5” SAS/SATA SSDs or hard drives, and only uses one standard external 5.25” computer bays.

Removable Tray Design

The ST9318 features uniquely designed hot-swappable 2.5” drive trays, enabling seamless and swift drive replacements. It is specifically engineered to support drives with a slim profile of 5mm to 7mm in height, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of storage solutions.

Strategically placed ventilation openings on the front and top of the mobile rack optimize airflow, ensuring a cool and efficient operating environment.

The SATA mobile rack features integrated LED status indicators for each tray, providing real-time drive status monitoring. LED to only be on when a drive is inserted, and shuts down the fan when all drives are removed. When a drive is detected, the dual cooling fans start up at the rear of the enclosure, ensure maximum airflow efficiency.

The enclosure incorporates dual Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) connectors, engineered to streamline installation processes and significantly minimize cable management complexity. This interface solution reduces the required cabling from eight individual SATA connections to just two high-density cables, optimizing rack space utilization while enhancing system maintainability.
