Removable Drive Tray Design

The ST9316U4 HDD enclosure is equipped with removable drive bays that allow users to easily remove or install up to six U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs at the same time for managing and transferring large amounts of data in the computer chassis. This design greatly improves maintenance efficiency, especially in enterprise environments where hard drives need to be replaced frequently. This rugged metal drive cage securely protects the installed U.2/U.3 SSDs, protecting valuable data and drives even during harsh transportation.

PCIe 4.0 Performance

Equipped with the SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) interface, the ST9316U4 enclosure is designed for PCIe 4.0 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs, and achieves up to 64Gb/s per drive in the chassis, which is twice as fast as PCIe 3.0 and ten times faster than the SATA standard, unlocking the full potential of NVMe Gen 4.0 x4 SSDs.

LED status indicator

The drive tray features an LED status light that indicates when your drive is powered up and in use. When no drives are installed, the LED will shut off to conserve power.
